Food Safety Management System (ISO 22000)
 
Objectives / Description
Small & Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA) in collaboration with Bureau Veritas Certification (BVC) and University of Sargodha has planned to organize a one day seminar on Food Safety Management System (ISO 22000). The objective of the seminar is to create awareness on the importance, utility and application of the standard. It is applicable to all organizations, regardless of size, which are involved in any aspect of the food chain and want to implement the system that consistently provides safe products. The participants of the seminar would understand the requirements for a food safety management system where an organization in the food chain needs to demonstrate its ability to control food safety hazards in order to ensure that food is safe at the time of human consumption.

  • Introduction to the Concept of Food Safety Management System
  • Understanding & Development of Pre-requisite Program
  • Detailed review and Interpretation of ISO 22000 Standard
