Description |
High Cost of doing business especially in manufacturing and service sectors in our country is hurting our domestic and international trade adversely. Our economy is facing a difficult time. The recent hike in utilities prices has added further fuel to the fire and we are constrained to look for cost cuts.
Understanding the importance of the subject, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA) is organizing a one day workshop on “Cost Reduction Techniques for Competitiveness & Profit Maximization”. This workshop will deal with a core issue of the industry cost competitiveness, knowledge, expertise and experience in the field of cost control and cost reduction. The workshop will aim to focus on building the capacity of the participants not only to face the threats from internal and external competitions, but also to take the benefits of WTO and Regional Trade Agreements (RTAs) and to make Pakistan economically strong. |
